About Lilly
Meet Lily Lily is a petite gray-and-white girl with the most unforgettable little gray “mustache” on her face. She's young (exact age unknown), gentle, and quietly sweet — the kind of cat who doesn't demand attention but deeply appreciates kindness. Lily is considered special needs / CH-ish (cerebellar hypoplasia–like). She likely has a neurological condition from early development, possibly in utero, which affects her coordination. Because of this, Lily:Walks with some circling and hesitation May take a moment to get where she's going, even when she wants to come to you Sleeps more than the average cat (her brain works harder, so rest is important) Despite this, Lily eats well, uses her voice when she needs something, and enjoys being safe and comfortable. She is not aggressive, not fearful, and does not seem distressed by her condition. For potty needs, Lily does best with pee pads rather than a traditional litter box. This is very common for neurological cats and helps her feel confident and successful. She's currently on a small amount of Miralax to help keep her stools comfortable. Lily is still on the thin side but has improved greatly with good food and care. She enjoys soft places to rest, sunshine by the window, and a calm environment. She tends to keep to herself but coexists peacefully with other cats and doesn't seem bothered by them. Lily would thrive in: A quiet, patient home With An adopter who understands or is open to learning about special-needs cats, Someone who values quality of life over perfection She doesn't need fixing — she needs understanding, routine, and love. Lily may move differently, but she feels deeply and loves quietly. If you're the kind of person who believes the most special cats are the ones who need a little extra grace, Lily may be your girl.
