Caleb’s Opus is thrilled to welcome STEVIE to our family in the New Year!! “Some dogs have the most gentle souls because the world has been unkind to them” STEVIE has a sad story with what we know will have a happy ending. STEVIE is a 7-month-old 34lb, mixed breed puppy who is what we call a HEART dog. Recently, STEVIE was abandoned at a shelter by the only human she ever knew. The owner had moved to a new place and didn’t realize he would need to pay a deposit required to keep sweet STEVIE with him. After months of being with this person, STEVIE was dropped off and left at a shelter. Sadly, STEVIE doesn’t understand where her safety went…it’s noisy and scary there. But here’s where the story takes a turn for the better. From the moment we saw STEVIE, we knew she belonged with us at Caleb’s Opus.
