Hello friends, my name is Chipmunk! I'm a very handsome male tabby around two years in age, and I'm waiting for the purr-fect human to come along and adopt me! So how did I end up at the shelter? Well, I was actually caught in a trap that was meant to catch an opossum! I couldn't help it though because I was just hungry and looking for a meal, and there it was inside the trap. I was brought to the shelter where I could be evaluated and kept safe, in the hopes that my person would come and save me, but nobody ever showed up. So now I'm available for adoption! I'm a big boy, which just means that there's more of me to love, and I have the biggest cheeks--which is how I got my name "Chipmunk". I'm just a little timid, but that's because I'm in an unfamiliar place with lots of other cats. I'm sure that once I'm adopted, my friendly purr-sonality will blossom. I must be an indoor-only cat to keep me safe from the many outside dangers that could hurt me. Lots of toys, a friend to play with, and a comfy bed would be enough to keep me happy and content.
