About Fox
Fox Shepherd mix. Female. 55lbs. 1.5 Dogs. Kids. Fox. A half-tailed girl who has been overlooked a thousand times. The kind of dog people scroll past without realizing they just skipped a masterpiece. We first saw her in playgroup videos that werenât even about her, but she kept stealing the scene without trying. Not because she was the loudest or the flashiest. Because she was doing something rare. She was speaking to every dog. To the social butterfly, she offered play without pushing. To the scared one, she offered space and softness. To the standoffish, she offered respect. To the lost, she offered a quiet check-in that said, âHey. Youâre not alone.â She didnât treat the room like a competition. She treated it like a community. Watching her was magic. The kind that makes your chest ache because you realize youâre witnessing pure emotional intelligence in a body that has every reason not to trust the world. So we asked about her, that shining, light-footed and the rest is history. Fox is made of silk, brains, art, and soul. A black fox with half a tail and a whole galaxy of goodness. She wakes up to breakfast around 8, then a little walk after, like a proper lady with places to be. She gets a few strolls throughout the day and night, and dinner at 8pm, even though she is fairly convinced sunset means âit must be dinner timeâ and will campaign accordingly. Treats are still her love language, and theyâve helped her learn âlie downâ like the smart queen she is. Sheâs also discovered the holy grail known as a Kong filled with peanut butter, and she licks it clean every single time, like itâs a sacred ritual and she is devoted. She loves the snow. Truly loves it. Like the world turned into a sparkling playground and sheâs delighted to be invited. Inside the home, Fox is an absolute apartment professional. Calm, clever, gentle. She is also a certified house-trained queen, with zero accidents, and sheâll simply walk up to the front door when she needs to go out. During human dinner time sheâs learning boundaries with grace, happily popping into her kennel and being a total angel about it. She loves the couch. Loves it. Sheâll curl up next to you while you play video games, snuggle into the quiet, and sometimes wander into the bedroom when youâre resting just to take a nap near the bed. When her foster got sick, Fox climbed up into bed a few times to offer that soft, wordless comfort that says, âIâm here. Youâre safe. We do hard things together.â A warrior queen moving through life with joy, empathy and love. No drama. No bitterness. Just steady grace that makes you want to be a better person. Fox is that kind of soul dog. The lifetime dog. The one who would wait at your grave, loyal beyond language, and then, when it was time, would get up and go find your children to make sure they grow up knowing the ways: how to be gentle, how to be brave, how to notice the quiet ones, how to love without keeping score.
