About Chad At

This could be the start of something paw-some. Introducing Chad! Chad came to rescue from a situation with multiple dogs, arriving very shut down and fearful. With patient care, Chad has made wonderful progress, growing in trust and confidence every day. Now, he's ready for a Foster or Forever Home where he can truly blossom. Chad needs a structured, stable, and patient environment with someone who can be present most of the day, as he becomes stressed when left crated for too long. His ideal adopter should be confident and experienced, prepared to continue his socialization and training. He's intelligent and making progress with house training! For the best fit, Chad’s new home should be free of children under 15, ensuring calm and predictability. He does well with larger, confident dogs aged 3–5 who can serve as role models, but should not live with cats or small animals. Chad is waiting at High Country Humane and would love to meet you in person. Fun fact: As a Sagittarius (born December 16), Chad might love new adventures and learning new things—perfect for an experienced owner to continue guiding him! Your visit could be the next step toward his bright future. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
