🐾 Meet Lucy - Gentle, Grateful, and Ready for Love 🐾 Lucy is about 2 years old and has already endured more than most dogs ever should. She spent her life on a chain, surviving on scraps and braving the cold--until being left outside in freezing conditions finally brought help. Her former owner was arrested and signed her over, giving Lucy the chance she'd never had before. Despite everything, Lucy is pure sweetness. She adores people, leans into affection, and would make the worst guard dog imaginable--everyone is a friend, and love is always welcome. She has done well with cats so far, and we're happy to dog-test her as needed.
