We hope someone will take a chance on sweet little Brooks. This poor boy, around a year old, has already been through so much. He was a part of a hoarding situation, and then his owner moved away and tossed him outside in the winter cold with 20 other cats. Luckily, he was able to be trapped and brought safely back inside, but he’s a very skittish boy. Brooks doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, and he’s slowly warming up, but he’s not currently a lap cat or a cat who will come running for attention. He needs a calm, patient person to give him time to heal and learn to be loved. He is good with other cats, and would likely enjoy a home with at least one other friendly cat to help show him people aren’t so bad.
