About Blue

Blue is about three years old and weighs around 80 pounds. From the start, he’s been all charm—happy, affectionate, and easy to love. This big Pit Bull Terrier makes friends easily, greets new people with open curiosity, and soaks up belly rubs whenever he can. His tail wags with his whole body, and his goofy, joyful energy is hard to ignore. Blue is a cuddler at heart and has shown just how much he craves closeness whenever given the chance. He’s playful, energetic, and will do anything for a snack. Give him a bully stick or a cow cheek roll and he’s happy, but watch the soft toys—they won’t last long with his enthusiasm. He doesn’t mind water or baths, and even did well at the vet. Blue is learning to live inside, so personal space remains a work in progress. He can pull pretty hard on leash and needs someone confident enough to handle a strong, large dog. He’s food-motivated and may try to go for another dog’s meal, but he’s never shown food aggression with people. Blue’s past with cats involved careful introductions, and he has a strong prey drive—a running cat won’t be safe. If there’s another dog in the home, he’d do best with a smaller, laid-back female. Small children aren’t a good fit, but older teens and adults are, especially those experienced with big, powerful breeds. A securely fenced yard is a must. He’ll thrive with clear boundaries, continued training, and lots of affection. If Blue feels like your fit, reach out for more info. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
