About Hopeducky
**Location - Long Island, NY** Available to local states** Just a month ago, Hope arrived at our rescue from a high-kill shelter emaciated, with raw, inflamed skin, struggling to breathe, and even a bloody nose. Estimated at just 1 year old and now weighing about 50 pounds, she had her whole life ahead of her — but she was set to be euthanized. Thanks to a sponsored private transport, she arrived safely to her foster. Hope was hospitalized upon arrival, and once stable enough, she went home, where she continued receiving TLC from her amazing foster mom and RTH board member. After many vet visits over the past few weeks, Hope is now healthy, thriving, and truly beyond sweet. What a difference a month makes. She’s great with other dogs, a little timid but very chilled, and she even had the cutest outing to get her holiday photos taken. It is preferred that Hope goes to a home with another dog. She does have a bit of separation anxiety when you leave the home but she is not destructive at all and we believe having a playmate will help alleviate that. Hope is now ready for adoption and looking for the loving home she deserves. To adopt, please apply at www.rthrs.com.
