Charlie is a small male Maltese with a long, flowing coat and a sweet white and silver coloring. As a senior, he’s both house trained and already neutered, with vaccinations up to date. Despite his age, Charlie is still affectionate and enjoys peaceful environments. He currently resides at Paw Squad 559, waiting for his forever home.

After coming into the shelter in rough shape, this resilient senior is now ready for a fresh start and a forever family who will shower him with the love he truly deserves. Charlie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats and would do best in a home with older, calm canine companions. He enjoys a peaceful environment where he can relax and feel secure. Charlie will need a family willing to take him out for regular potty breaks and bring him back inside. He does appear to have some vision impairment, but it doesn’t slow him down at all. Charlie navigates the house just fine and quickly makes himself right at home wherever he goes. He loves everyone he meets and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes him an instant favorite. Charlie will truly excel with someone who can help him establish a consistent routine. He’s a big fan of mealtime especially if boiled chicken is on the menu! His days are happily spent snoozing in his favorite dog bed.
