Meet Pat and Bunny. Named in tribute to folk-punk legend Pat the Bunny, this duo has been through the ringer and come out the other side stronger, sweeter, and ready to take on their next setlist: finding a forever home. These two came to us after an emergency plea from another rescue. They were living with multiple other cats in a rental moving truck while their owners, experiencing housing insecurity, stayed in a motel. When the truck had to be returned, these cats had nowhere to go. We took Pat and Bunny in as a bonded pair - though at first, we weren't so sure. Bunny was stressed, upset, and wanted nothing to do with Pat. But after a few days apart? A total reunion tour. It was like they never missed a beat. Bunny now lovingly weaves under Pat's long legs like a cat-shaped ribbon, and they're always by each other's side. She even gives hugs (yes, really). They're friendly, social, and just a joy to be around. While they adore each other, Bunny has made it very clear: Pat is her one and only. So they'd do best as the only cats in the home.
