About Misty

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Misty is searching for a gentle, stable, and loving forever home where she can enjoy her senior years in comfort. Rescued in poor health as a stray, Misty has transformed with the care and support she’s received. She is now spayed, vaccinated, and thriving—she has gained weight, loves her meals, and is showing eagerness for more happy years ahead. Misty is FIV-positive, meaning she is immunocompromised, and she has also been diagnosed with possible GI lymphoma and irritable bowel disease. Despite her medical challenges, she is currently stable, cheerful, and full of affection. Her care routine includes daily prednisone, easily mixed into her food or given directly, which she will likely need long-term. Misty gets along wonderfully with Cleveland, a younger male orange tabby FIV foster cat who is also healthy and stable. Adopting Misty and Cleveland together would be even more rewarding, as their companionship brings them joy and comfort. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
