This little turkey showed up on rural property the week of Thanksgiving. While he made his presence known, getting to him across a barbed wire fence where he was camped out in overgrown bramble was a challenge, but on Thanksgiving Day, we had him. Henry is one true little warrior! How he ended up on his own at such a young age is anyone’s guess. He was out there long enough to have developed mange, but his hardships did not spoil his spirit or turn him feral. He is the gentlest, most loving little guy who is certainly grateful for his indoor lifestyle. His first 6 months of life are already a distant memory. Now neutered, vaccinated, and parasite-free, negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped, Henry is ready for his forever home. He is good with cats and with cat-friendly dogs, but he is also very suitable as an only pet and deserves to be spoiled rotten.
