About Bear
Bear is a 6-year-old male Bombay/American Shorthair mix in Bow, WA, who cares deeply about being near his people. Friendly with strangers, Bear adores cuddling—his favorite spot is right on your chest—and isn't shy about joining you during your yoga sessions. He lets you know when he feels lonely with a distinctive vocal call and always keeps an eye out for snacks, especially anything resembling baked goods, so his adopter will need to pay attention at treat time. Though Bear has had a tough past after losing his owner and spending time outdoors, he remains gentle, affectionate, and very trusting. His daily routine includes medication and a starch-free diet due to diabetes, as well as fish oil for arthritis and dandruff, but these needs are reliable and manageable. He’s lived peacefully with other cats and welcomes new feline friends without aggression. Bear is looking for a calm, stable home where someone can help with his medical care. He will give back plenty of companionship and warmth to anyone who welcomes him in. Start your journey together! Apply now.
