About Scary Spice
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Scary Spice arrived at the shelter in July 2025 as a stray, accompanied by her two kittens. Instead of stepping into a nurturing mom role, Scary Spice showed her independent and self-focused side, preferring to let others care for her babies so she could concentrate on her own needs. As the shelter team has gotten to know her, she’s become something of a favorite—not because she’s affectionate or outwardly loving, but because of her playful quirks and unmistakable personality. This curious girl is motivated by treats like no other, so much so that those handing out snacks are warned to keep their fingers safe! She isn’t a snuggler, but her playful spirit and desire to be part of the action make her a quirky companion. Scary Spice may not be the classically friendly lap cat, but her journey toward affection and trust is endearing and ongoing. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
