About Florent

Click apply to start the adoption process. Florent arrived after her previous family could no longer care for her and has become a familiar sight around the shelter ever since. In the past, she dealt with stomatitis, but this is now well managed with a monthly injection and she’s much more comfortable these days. Florent has blossomed into a more social cat; while she often prefers the safety of higher perches, she sometimes comes down to investigate visitors, especially when she feels safe. If startled, she’ll quickly retreat to her favorite spot, but with familiar faces, she may come back down to say hello. She’s a big fan of her meals and looks forward to feeding time each day. Florent consistently has some eye discharge, but this doesn’t bother her—staff simply wipe it away as needed and it doesn’t require ongoing treatment. Over the years she’s grown from shy to curious, adding a special presence to the shelter. Born June 1, Florent is a curious Gemini, known for her adaptability and playfulness!
