Florent originally came to us in May of 2021 as an owner surrender. She's been a staple here at the shelter. She struggled with stomatitis for the longest time. It's under control now with the help of a monthly injection. She's way more social than she used to be. She doesn't just stick to the catwalks anymore, though if she's on the ground, she usually scampers back up there when someone comes in. Once she sees who it is, she may or may not come back down. She loves her food. She does constantly have eye goop in the corner of her eyes but it doesn't require treatment. We just wipe it away when we find it.
