About Claire

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Claire is an 8-month-old Lab mix with a gentle, sensitive heart yearning to blossom. Right now, she greets the world cautiously but watches with a quiet curiosity, always observing from the sidelines and hoping for the courage to join in. This sweet girl shows her submissive, easygoing nature by offering belly-up greetings to other dogs and even rolling over when introduced to a leash. Because of this, she's non-confrontational and thrives with canine friends—especially those who are confident and friendly. Claire feels safest when she has a dog pal to guide her and would shine brightest in a home with another dog. Although shy at first, Claire’s loving personality is already beginning to emerge. She adores treats, melts for gentle pets, and will quietly sneak onto the couch for cuddles once she trusts you. Her crate is her beloved retreat; she runs there with a merry little tail wag whenever you call for bedtime. With her Lab and Beagle blend, Claire is likely to grow into an affectionate, playful, and loyal family member blessed with intelligence and gentle spirit. To help her blossom, Claire needs a patient adopter who has a secure backyard—leash walks are still a bit daunting for her right now. Time, love, and steady encouragement will help this little girl flourish into the curious, social, and devoted companion she is meant to be. If you treasure watching a shy soul come out of her shell, Claire will reward you with leaps of progress, unconditional love, and soft snuggles for years to come. She’s ready for her forever family in Texas. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
