She’ll play with dogs and people, but cannot live with cats or small animals due to her strong prey instinct. Amber must always be on a leash when outdoors; this girl can clear a six-foot fence. She is eager to learn and likes to stay busy, making her a good match for someone who really understands the needs of high-energy dogs. Amber is house trained, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and has passed all her health screenings. She’s used to living in a foster home and is crate trained. This rescue requires a minimum 4-foot physical fence, with some dogs needing a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence due to their athleticism—Amber’s jumping ability makes her one of those cases. Electric fences are not accepted. Amber does best with experienced handlers who are ready to keep her safe and active.
