About Maia
Maia didn’t have the easiest start in life, but she wasted no time settling in with her new rescue friends and showing gratitude with head rubs and a healthy dose of purrs. She’s a lovely adult cat with striking calico and white fur. Her curious nature means she’s always exploring her surroundings and watching the world go by from a window perch. Maia gets quite chatty when her favorite people are around and values a good conversation. You’ll want to keep an eye on doors—she’s quick and has made a few break-for-freedom attempts, so a careful adopter is important. Although not overtly aggressive with other cats, Maia isn’t thrilled with feline company and grumbles when another cat is close, so she’s best suited as a solo pet. She’s also happiest in a home without young kids, where her bed remains her private retreat for cozy naps. Fun fact: Maia was born on August 1, which makes her a Leo—true to form, she loves attention and quietly commands her space. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
