About Mercedes
Mercedes is a 10-year-old grey and white Domestic Shorthair who had a narrow escape from a euthanasia deadline shelter. Despite her age, she still enjoys playtime and welcomes affection, but wants nothing more than a safe place to finally settle in and relax. Mercedes has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped (with lifetime registration), and recently had a full dental, bloodwork, and parasite treatments—she’s in good shape for a senior cat. She’s house trained and gets along well with other cats, making her a comfortable addition to most quieter households. Mercedes can be met in person or virtually at her foster home on Chicago’s NW side once an application is received. Bringing her home means giving her the gentle, stable care she’s never had.
