Meet Dolly, a young pup whose curiosity, athleticism, and sweet nature all mix together in the best possible way. Dolly is genuinely eager to please—she’s working hard every day at becoming her best self. Out on walks, she handles the leash well, and her recall off-leash is steady, though sometimes she’ll ask for a gentle reminder when her nose leads the way. This girl can jump—think ‘suddenly face-to-face’ kind of hops—so friendly greetings are a skill still in progress. Inside, Dolly is still getting the hang of winding down and relaxing. Her nose wants to explore every corner and she’s learning how to settle with the right encouragement and calm consistency. She knows how to sit and will usually hold it for half a minute or so, but the promise of treats can get the better of her focus. She’s come a long way, and she knows it’s all about small wins. With cats, Dolly is easygoing. She mostly leaves them alone, occasionally giving playful chase, followed by nothing more than a curious sniff. Dolly gets along well with other dogs and children and thrives in an environment where training is part of the routine and laughter is welcome.
