About Clyde
Start your journey together! Apply now. Clyde is a sweetheart of a dog with an irresistible smile and a soft, gentle energy that makes him a joy to be around. At just 1.5 years old, this Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix weighs 39 pounds and is as friendly as he is easygoing. Clyde has a playful touch of puppy energy and is making great strides in his training, already understanding "Sit" and nearly mastering house training. He is still adjusting to crate training, so continued positive reinforcement will help him gain confidence. Daily walks are one of Clyde's favorite things, and he loves meeting both dogs and people during his outings. While he can be bouncy when excited, he's notably smart and eager to learn, making him a wonderful fit for an active home ready to build on his training. Clyde does especially well with older children and other dogs, though he hasn't met cats yet. Prospective adopters should know he sometimes gets car sick, so gradual introductions to car rides are ideal. Clyde would thrive in a home with a yard and an adopter who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking or daily walks. Consistent love, structure, and encouragement will help him shine as the perfect companion and adventure buddy. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) is a non-profit rescue in Tennessee, adopting nationwide except to RI and MA residents. All pets receive full veterinary care and are spayed/neutered before adoption. Thank you for considering adoption!
