Despite being only a kitten herself, she took on the brave task of caring for her four babies after being abandoned near a busy road in a commercial area. Her first days on her own were harrowing, and it's amazing she survived such dangers with no street experience. Our rescue team found her just in time, whisking her and her babies to safety after seeing her narrowly avoid oncoming cars. Bonnie Blue was wearing a collar with a bell, which guided us right to her at a crucial moment. After rescuing Bonnie Blue, we reunited her with her three kittens (her tiger son and two Siamese-type daughters). Unfortunately, the fourth kitten was never found, though we remain hopeful another kind person found and saved it. Bonnie Blue and her kittens are now safe, healthy, and settling in well—as her babies are a little timid, they’ll need gentle socialization in their new homes, but Bonnie Blue herself is ready to find her forever family.
