Buster is a handsome husky who came to us after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He previously lived with his husky siblings, but he can be a bit dominant with other dogs, so he may do best as the only dog or with a family experienced in slow, structured introductions. Buster is still learning how to feel comfortable around people. He wasn’t well-socialized before coming to us, but he has already shown wonderful progress. He needs a quiet, patient household with no young children, and a family willing to go slow and help him build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe, Buster will approach for pets and attention, and those little moments of trust are incredibly rewarding. Like most huskies, Buster can be an escape artist and will need proper supervision, a secure yard, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy. Meeting new people is still challenging for him, but with time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, he truly has the potential to thrive.
