About Bear
Bear is a 6-year-old tiny Pomeranian, sweet as they come and filled with a calm, resilient spirit. After spending his early years outside, Bear has settled into his foster home with surprising optimism. He’s neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are current, so he’s ready for the comforts of indoor living. Bear lives with heartworm and mild seizures. He’s on a vet-recommended, gentle treatment plan and will thrive with a patient adopter willing to stick to his monthly meds. He isn’t needy—he does like company, especially other polite dogs, but he’s just as content relaxing quietly by himself. A peaceful home with a little outdoor space suits him; loud or busy homes with small kids aren’t the best fit. Daily coat combing is a must to manage his fluffy long hair, but elaborate grooming isn’t necessary. Bear gets along well with cats and dogs and will do best with someone willing to meet his special needs. Local adopters between Jupiter and Vero Beach will have the first chance to bring Bear home. This laid-back little dog hopes for a gentle family willing to go the distance. Click apply to start the adoption process.
