“In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.” (Terry Pratchett). Unfortunately, some people have. I am an adult cat who was left in a carrier by the dumpster behind Paws and Claws the evening of December 3, a night when the temperatures were dropping well below freezing. Luckily a staff member saw me and brought me indoors before I got too cold. I’m called Sissy, and I was understandably nervous. If people approach me slowly, I do like being petted. Now that I have a comfortable bed and good food to eat, my body has warmed up. With care and attention from kind human beings, my spirit will become more open and trusting as well. Maybe someone will discover the goddess that lives within me so that I can be someone’s special Sissy girl someday soon. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
