Meet Beyonce, known as Bee to her friends—a 3-year-old husky/lab/Catahoula mix rescued from a hoarding situation. She's currently with a foster family in Houston but can travel to you once adopted (note: adopters will need to meet in Blaine, WA if crossing the border). Bee weighs about 37 pounds, is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Bee lights up around other dogs; she thrives when there’s a playful pup to follow, and she learns best from her canine companions. She’s mellow overall, getting the occasional burst of zoomies and enjoying daily yard time, but easily settles for snuggles on the couch. She’s never met a cat but can be tested for applicants with cats. Bee is gentle around children, doing fine with a visiting 5-year-old, though she isn’t particularly playful with kids. She’s shy with newcomers, especially men, needing a patient, female-led home with predictability and kindness. Bee's foster notes she’s the quiet, loving sort who may just sneak into your lap for a snooze. Bee is fully house trained, doesn't need a crate, and does well left to free roam. She shares toys and food easily with dog friends and feels her safest and happiest in canine company. She’s best suited for a home with at least one friendly dog, a yard for zoomies, and a nurturing female adopter.
