Tate is a six-month-old, medium-sized mixed breed pup with a short black and cream coat who arrived in Michigan after a rough start at an overcrowded Texas shelter. Still young and brimming with playful energy, Tate is eager to explore the world and soak up new experiences. His mom, a gentle soul herself, taught him early that humans are friends, not foes, and since then he’s blossomed into a confident, people-loving pup. In foster care, Tate has spent time with other dogs, cats, and kids, learning to play gently and share his space well. He’s not yet house trained, but that just means his future family can help him learn good habits from the start. He’s already socialized, microchipped, up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines, and dewormed, but he’ll need to be neutered following adoption.
