About Ellie Christmas
Ellie Christmas landed at DASH after a long stretch of bad luck, finding a safer place after being left behind in a burnt-out house, alongside her companion Mini Claus. A few kind neighbors fed her, but she’s much better off in a foster home where she can relax and be herself. Ellie is a gentle soul who loves sprawling out for naps and taking in the action from a comfy dog bed. She’s shy at first with new people, but it doesn’t take long for her to open up and show her sweet side if she can sense patience and kindness. She enjoys other dogs and coexists well with cats, making her a flexible addition for a home with other pets. Potty training, crate training, and leash walking are all works in progress, so her adopters will need a bit of time and understanding to help her get settled. Ellie’s easygoing nature should fit a calm household, whether it’s with a senior or a busy family, as long as patience and love are in good supply. Ready to fall in love?
