About Talia
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Talia, a lovable mixed breed pup whose mom was a bully mix and dad a small Husky mix. Born on October 1, 2024, Talia is currently about 28 lbs and will likely stay under 35 lbs when fully grown. Her short coat shines in a lovely blend of white, cream, yellow, and tan. Talia thrives on playtime with her foster dog sister, exploring new sights on walks, and quietly watching the world unfold around her. Although shy with new people—especially children—she is gradually learning to trust and blossom with patience and calm guidance. She is almost fully housebroken, with only minor accidents when her people miss her cues, and is comfortable in her crate. Talia has a high energy level; she loves romping outdoors as much as she enjoys cozying up with toys and the other house pets. She does wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, and her gentle zoomies are a delight. While she’s timid in new social situations, this sweet soul will reward a patient adopter with deep loyalty and affection. For her safety, a physically fenced yard is required—wireless, invisible, or radio fences will not be considered. Her ideal home will allow her to go at her own pace and preferably has children aged 13 or older, as she is still working on her social skills around unfamiliar people. Talia is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. She’s looking for a family within 45 miles of Winston-Salem, NC, ready to give her a gentle start and help her shine. Fun fact: Talia was born under the sign of Libra—making her naturally sweet and eager for harmony in her home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
