AvailableBabs is a small, adult, brown and gray tabby with a sweet personality, currently living in St. Louis, MO. He is a neutered male domestic short hair, and his vaccinations are up to date. Babs has special physical needs, as he uses only his front legs and requires assistance expressing his bladder, but he doesn’t let it slow him down. He gets along well with cats and dogs, and enjoys plenty of snuggles and playtime.
About Babs
Babs is a 2-year-old male tabby who’s figured out life on his terms. He came into rescue as a kitten with deformed back legs, which eventually had to be removed. Now, without rear legs, Babs navigates the world just fine—he decides where he wants to go. He needs some extra support: his bladder doesn’t fully empty on its own, so he gets help from his foster a couple of times daily. It’s a quick extra step; Babs might protest with gentle nips, but he always feels better once it’s done. He manages his bowel movements solo, and, though he isn’t currently using a litter box, progress is in the works with his foster mom. His personality is gentle and snuggly—Babs truly loves affection and happily cuddles up for pets. He enjoys playing with toys, especially when someone joins in, but doesn’t care much for cardboard scratchers, preferring carpet posts. Babs gets along with both cats and dogs, though rambunctious big dogs can be a bit much, so he usually just keeps to himself. Babs is looking for someone who can manage his bladder needs and wants a loving, entertaining companion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
