About Koda

Koda is a lively and affectionate girl with boundless energy and a love for adventure. At just over a year old, she’s all about soaking up the sun, sprinting around the yard, splashing in her doggie pool, and chasing bubbles until she drops. If you love being outside, Koda is in her element and will gladly join you for boating trips, outdoor hikes, or neighborhood strolls. Don’t let her playfulness fool you—she’s also a dedicated cuddle buddy who settles in for quiet time on the couch or bed once playtime is over. Koda sleeps peacefully in her kennel at night and is fully house and kennel trained. She picks up tricks quickly—roll over, shake, and sit pretty are already in her toolkit—and she’s happiest with a chew toy or bone within paw’s reach, even quietly hanging out nearby while you go about your day. Koda gets along wonderfully with teens and older kids, as she currently lives with a teenage girl and loves her deeply. While she hasn’t lived with small children, she’s encountered them on walks without issue. For the best fit, Koda needs to be the only dog in the home or join a family with a mellow male dog after a careful, slow introduction; she has a history of clashing with dominant female dogs, especially around times of heightened excitement or stress. Her current family is heartbroken to rehome her but wants her to thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention without worry. To learn more or set up a meet and greet, just reach out. Koda might be the adventure partner you've been searching for. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
