About Charlie
Meet Charlie – sunshine with a tail! Charlie is a big-hearted, yellow and white 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, quick to brighten up any room with her eager smile. Weighing in at around 65 pounds, she strikes a balance between a fun-loving playmate and an expert snuggler. She thrives on outdoor time, leisurely strolls, and plenty of nap breaks, with a life philosophy built on snacks and affection. Charlie is especially affectionate with children, quickly bonding with young ones and always ready for a game or a cozy cuddle on the couch. She’s playful and deeply food-motivated, picking up house manners and basic commands with ease. Charlie's enthusiasm makes her a loyal sidekick — you won’t find a more willing shadow in the house. While Charlie is selective about her dog companions, she could potentially be the only dog in your home or live with another canine after careful, slow introductions. She does manage some anxiety, especially around confinement or being left alone too long, and takes Fluoxetine to keep her settled. Kennels aren’t her strong suit, and she’ll need a secure environment and someone home most of the time. Spayed, healthy, and ready for love, Charlie is searching for a family ready to spoil her and help her feel safe. With her mix of playful sass and endless snuggles, she has plenty to give. She’s in Dallas, TX, and part of The Love Pit’s iRehome foster program, with all care information available from her current caretaker. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
