About Indy
Indy is a 5-year-old, short-haired grey female who came to us from a severe hoarding situation in Indiana, PA. She was one of 19 cats rescued after their owner was unexpectedly hospitalized, and today, Indy remains one of only five still seeking a safe landing. Her early life was rough—overcrowded, unstable, and stressful. Since arriving, Indy has made honest strides. She is still on the shy side and takes time to trust, but there’s a strong gentleness at her core for someone who will be patient. Indy does best in a quiet, calm environment without children and needs a person willing to give her time, structure, and understanding to keep progressing. She’s available for foster or foster-to-adopt, and with the right match, Indy is ready to reward that patience with her loyalty. Virgos like Indy are known for their thoughtful, sensitive nature. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
