Ben
AvailableBen is a large, young male German Shepherd Dog with a beautiful bicolor medium-length coat, currently at Safety Net Sanctuary. He is housebroken, energetic, and thrives in an environment with no other animals. Ben's impressive size and playful nature make him best suited for an active family with no small children, where he can be the special center of attention.
About Ben
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Ben is about 3 or 4 years old and arrived at the rescue as an unclaimed stray. As a very large German Shepherd, Ben will need a home where he is the only animal—this is a strict requirement, with no exceptions. He is housebroken and does not tolerate a crate, preferring the freedom to relax outside of confinement. With his boundless energy, Ben enjoys going on walks and playing with his toys, making him an ideal companion for someone who can match his activity level. He is very affectionate with people, but because of his size and energy, a home without small children is recommended to keep everyone safe and happy. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
