About Goldie
Click apply to start the adoption process. Goldie is a six-year-old female Black Mouth Cur mix who lost her home when her owner relocated and was unable to take her. She has a sweet and gentle temperament, and is very well socialized. Goldie is used to living with cats—she spent years peacefully among barn cats—and is also wonderful with other dogs. In her previous home, she happily shared space with a Yorkie and often played with the neighbors’ three Australian Shepherds. Goldie has shown herself to be especially gentle with children, regularly interacting with her owner’s nine young grandchildren in an affectionate way. She is housebroken and has never required crating due to her excellent house manners. Goldie is low maintenance, loves going for walks on her leash, enjoys car rides, and relishes spending quality time with her people. She is healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, and, at approximately 80 pounds, is a robust and happy companion. Goldie would thrive with a family who appreciates the loyal and loving nature of the breed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
