About Tammy
Tammy is a lovable, silly shepherd mix who combines smarts with pure sweetness. She wants to be right by your side and delights in any activity you're up for. When the mood hits, Tammy's zoomies and passion for fetch with plush toys will make you laugh nearly every day. This clever girl keeps herself busy with puzzle toys, peanut butter Kongs, and nylabones. She's fully house-trained, doesn't chew up things when left alone, and will neatly settle herself in for sleep. Car rides and walks are a treat for her, but she tends to wear out quickly after the initial excitement. When guests visit, Tammy is polite and easy to have around. She’s learning to share her space with her foster family’s cat—sometimes getting a little too playful—so she could do well in a home with a cat that’s used to dogs and slow introductions. Tammy needs to be the only dog in her new home and would thrive with walks in quieter neighborhoods. Her ideal home is calm, patient, and ready for both cuddle sessions and spurts of hilarious play. In return, Tammy will fill your days with loyal companionship and plenty of kitchen “help.” Did you know she’s a Scorpio? That means Tammy is both deeply loving and a little bit mischievous.
