About Casper

When Casper grins at you—something he does all the time—it feels like the world might be alright for a minute. His big smile and the joy on his face are hard to ignore. Around here, more than a few folks have a soft spot for him. Casper is a handsome, solid dog who loves holding a tennis ball in his mouth and soaking up the sun. He’ll chase a ball as long as you let him and would rather roll in leaves and dirt than just about anything else. The off-leash yard is his happy place, running laps and flopping over for a good roll. He balances that playfulness with plenty of chill time. Casper is tuned in with his people—he’ll check in while you’re out walking together. He’s got the basics down: sit, stay, wait, especially if treats are on the table. He can pass other dogs without a problem outside, but he’s best living as the only dog in the home. Casper needs a house with adults who’ll play with him and take him out for walks. A yard would be a huge bonus. He’s been at the rescue a while and could use a little extra encouragement and spoiling to really come into his own at home. One more thing—Casper’s adoption fee is covered, thanks to a secret admirer. Click apply to start the adoption process.
