About Bear
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Bear (Dozer!), your loyal homebody with a heart of gold. At approximately 1.5 years old, Bear is a medium-sized, black mixed-breed dog with a gentle, affectionate nature. He's playful and curious, happiest when he's in his safe, familiar space indoors. Bear confidently lounges around, keeps things tidy, and delights in squeaky toys, striking the perfect balance between playfulness and relaxation. This sweet pup does wonderfully with other medium and large dogs and is making impressive progress with good manners around cats. Bear is sensitive to new environments, loud noises, storms, and wet grass, so he needs a calm, patient, and experienced adopter who can gently guide him as he continues to build confidence. Outdoor adventures like car rides and leash walks are still a work in progress, but with time, structure, and encouragement, Bear is sure to blossom. The ideal home for Bear is calm and predictable, possibly with another confident dog or two and an owner who appreciates cuddles and steady routines. If you’re seeking a devoted companion who’s silly, sensitive, and full of love, Bear is waiting for you. Fun fact: With a May 7th birthday, Bear is a Taurus—known for their love of comfort and loyalty! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
