Cal Cal had a rough patch before ending up back in rescue. She was originally adopted out as a kitten but recently found herself abandoned and picked up by animal control. She’s a large, striking dilute calico who clearly didn’t have a fair go; cramped in a too-small carrier, signs point to a tough time. Now, Cal Cal is looking for a patient adopter who can let her settle at her own pace. She does best in a home where she’s the solo pet – she’s not a fan of other cats, dogs, or lively children. Brushes are her weak spot, and she’ll light up with affection once she knows she’s safe. Give her time, space, and gentle care, and you’ll see flashes of her playful, silly side.
