About Barrett
Barrett is a 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with plenty of heart and a few good quirks. At about 90 lbs, he’s a big, sweet presence who bonds deeply with his people—especially the ladies. He does best in a relaxed, child-free home where things don’t get too busy, and he prefers a female adopter or an easygoing male who keeps a low-key household. New faces or dogs get a cautious once-over, but proper introductions help, and he’ll soon be bouncing around with his dog pals on the ranch. Cats aren’t on his list of friends. Barrett takes house and crate training seriously, already knows his basics, and listens well, especially when he knows you. Give him a yard or access to good walks—he’s flexible about the sort of home, as long as his people carve out time for his outdoor energy. He can splash in water, snuggle on the couch, or just ride along for errands. Barrett’s naturally protective and watches over his household, rewarding you with plenty of kisses and commitment when you’re home. If you want loyalty without neediness and a gentle, slightly dignified friend to share quiet time or sunny adventures, Barrett could be your guy. He’s ready to meet someone patient who’ll let his personality unfold at its own pace. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
