About Pepita
Pepita and his brother Sunflower are a bonded pair of older cats who have mellowed out with age. At around 11 years old, Pepita is perfectly content spending most of his days napping, accepting the occasional cheek rub or chin scratch when he feels affectionate, and quietly watching the world outside from a cozy window perch. Both boys are gentle and calm by nature, but they can be shy, especially in unfamiliar situations. They’ll thrive best in a quiet, predictable environment with older teens or adults who are patient enough to let them settle at their own pace. If you have resident pets, plan for a slow, thoughtful introduction. Pepita and Sunflower are currently staying with a foster family, not at the shelter. Their adoption fees have been generously sponsored. Give this sweet pair the second chapter they deserve. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
