Meet Gidget: We rescued this sweet stray after her kittens were picked up by another group and Gidget was left on the streets. Gidget just turned 5 years old and is looking for a quiet home where she can feel safe, warm and loved. At the shelter she likes to burrow under the protection of blankets now that it is cold, but as this video from volunteer Terry shows, Gidget is very gentle and accepting of attention if you seek her out. This mama has been through so much fending for herself and her babies, and now is looking for a family to take care of her. Please come visit with her in our Peach Room.
