About Blanca Luna
Blanca Luna has a soft spot with anyone who meets her. At around four years old and somewhere in the 60-pound range, she’s a Puerto Rican Sato with striking white and brown fur, a short coat, and an expressive face—complete with pink, pointed ears that only add to her charm. Some days she looks like a Lab/Shepherd mix, now and then a little like a reindeer (especially come holiday season), and sometimes her wolfish look peeks through. She has spent over a year and a half with her rescuer in Puerto Rico, waiting for her chance to find a family in the States. That long wait means her personality is well-known: Blanca Luna is joyful, friendly, and eager to please in a home setting. She’s medium energy and greets visitors with obvious happiness, sometimes leaping up to say hello. She’d thrive in a household that enjoys outdoor time—daily walks or hikes would suit her. Leashed exercise helps her settle, and her habit of excited jumping can be shaped up quickly with a bit of structure. Blanca Luna is food motivated, which makes training a breeze. She’s never met a dog she didn’t get along with and lives harmoniously with several at her foster home. She hasn’t been officially cat tested yet, but there are plans to do so. Friendly with kids, she’s a tolerant companion who enjoys relaxation, cuddling, and even the occasional costume if it means getting attention. This is a loving, resilient dog who’s ready for a real home, as long as her family is prepared for daily commitment and exercise. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
