About Lucy
Lucy is a large, short-coated Shepherd mix, likely with some Collie, about 10 years old and weighing around 65lbs. After suddenly losing her previous owners, she and her sister Scarlett found themselves in need of a new home together. Lucy has settled into foster care and is a laid-back senior who prefers cuddling and relaxing close to people—she’s happiest when she can follow you around for comfort. She warms up to new people quickly and enjoys being included in whatever is happening. Lucy already knows basic commands, never jumps, and listens well. While she gets along with most other dogs, she can be selective—some she likes, others not so much. She hasn’t been around cats, so a gradual introduction would be best. A securely fenced yard is important because she’s been known to slip a harness and go exploring if given the chance. Lucy is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $175, or $300 for both Lucy and Scarlett if adopted together. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
