Zeus, sometimes called the "black panther," is a giant, lovable presence who’s won over everyone in his foster home. At about 80 solid pounds, he cuts an impressive figure and is in great physical shape for his age—nothing really seems to stop him from enjoying life. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines, with a clean bill of health for his heart, though he does have a harmless skin dermoid on his head. Zeus does have some anxiety, mostly around food and toys, though it’s manageable and continues to improve. He’s on a special diet to support his kidneys. Housebroken and reliable, he’s never had an accident indoors. Zeus is curious and polite with cats and smaller dogs, and after a bit of adjustment, he gets along fine with other pups—including those he didn’t initially mesh with. This big guy knows all the basics: sit, stay, shake, lay down, and more. He loves kids of all ages and enjoys time outside as much as snuggling in bed.
