About Kirby
Kirby is a gentle, mahogany sable Rough Collie with a steady, comforting presence. She's an 11-year-old senior who spends her days keeping to a simple routine—short walks, naps, and plenty of time close to her people. House-trained and rarely vocal, Kirby moves with care around the house, always preferring quiet companionship over busy activity. She enjoys gentle affection and, while she is picking up a few new tricks from foster siblings, would much rather be a relaxed shadow than the star of the show. Mobility is tough for Kirby due to muscle loss in her hind legs, so stairs and strenuous exercise are not for her. A safe, accessible environment is key, and while a fenced yard is nice, it's not required as long as she gets gentle walks on schedule. Kirby gets along with other dogs, but really thrives in calm, patient homes where her mobility issues and desire for gentle living are respected. She moves carefully around seniors and seems happiest with a stable, understanding household that can provide comfort and routine. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
