About Romina

Romina’s foster describes her as an affectionate, playful, and charmingly clumsy Labrador Retriever. She is convinced she’s a 50-pound lap dog and will happily follow her people from room to room. Initially quite nervous, Romina is gradually revealing her sweet and resilient personality. She’s eager for love, grateful for comfort, and quick to show affection to those she trusts. Romina enjoys her toys but is equally content curled up for couch cuddles, often making a symphony of grunts and sighs that amuse her foster family. Romina is fully housebroken and sleeps through the night in her bed. Left alone, she relaxes quietly without fuss. She loves walks with a harness and manages well—unless a squirrel crosses her path; then enthusiasm takes over. While she plays nicely with dogs her own size and is respectful toward her smaller foster sisters, she can get jumpy and mouthy when excitable, though she’s improving. She needs a home without young children and will thrive where her sensitivity and playful spirit are appreciated. Romina is a special dog looking for her new best friend. What are you waiting for?
