About Gloria

Start your journey together! Apply now. Gloria is a very sweet girl, despite having gone through a painful and traumatic past. Before joining the rescue, she suffered an injury that resulted in the loss of part of her tail. After several surgeries performed by caring veterinarians and devoted foster care during her lengthy recovery, Gloria is finally showing the charming and affectionate personality that had been hidden by her pain. Due to her accident, Gloria now experiences nerve damage and cannot control her bowels. She isn’t aware when accidents happen and it’s uncertain whether she’ll ever regain this ability, though she can urinate outside and was likely house trained before her injury. She has adapted well to wearing a diaper indoors overnight. Gloria would thrive as an outside dog with proper shelter and a doggy companion to share her love of play. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, enjoys basking in the sun, napping, learning to fetch, and even relishes a good belly rub or ear scratch. She ignores cats and is working on her excitement when greeting people. Gloria is about three years old, and her foster mom is happy to share tips on caring for her healing tail. Born on August 5th, Gloria is a fun-loving Leo, known for her sunny spirit and playfulness.
