Meet Serrano! This shy but sweet kitten is looking for a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Trapped at just three months old, she has made great progress, but she is still cautious with new people. Serrano will likely tuck herself into her safe spot at first, quietly watching and deciding when she feels comfortable. Even while hiding, Serrano is happy to accept gentle pets and will often start purring almost right away. With time, she blossoms into a roly-poly lovebug who flips around with happiness during petting sessions. It may take a little while before she feels confident enough to run and play in front of you, but the wait is truly rewarding. Wand toys and balls are her favorites, and she enjoys lounging on cat trees once she feels secure. She will do best in a quiet home where she can start in a cozy space of her own, and she would love to meet a friendly resident kitty.
